I applied for a position at Yardi Software India Pvt. Ltd. through Vibrant Minds Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Pune, participating in their off-campus recruitment drive. Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of the selection stages:

Vibrant Minds Selection Process:

Round 1: Group Discussion (27th May 2024)

The group discussion was conducted offline, where students were divided into batches of 15. The discussion lasted for about 10-15 minutes. Out of each batch, 8 students were selected for the next round, and I was among those selected.

Round 2: Technical Test

The technical test was a pen-and-paper MCQ exam that covered basic questions on OOPs, Java, and SQL. Out of over 1000 students who participated, 46 candidates, including myself, received the Yardi test link.

Yardi Selection Process:

The online test consisted of two sections: Aptitude and Technical. The aptitude section had 20 questions, and the technical section had 25 questions. To be eligible for the technical test, candidates needed to score at least 12/20 in the aptitude section. I qualified and received an interview email on 29th May 2024, with the interview scheduled for 31st May 2024.

Round 2: Pre-HR Interview

There was also a discussion about my final year project and internships. This round lasted nearly an hour or more.

Round 4: Managerial Interview

In the managerial interview, I was asked to introduce myself. The interviewer then asked me to solve a problem involving a string, specifically to print the last word of the string without using any library. There were also 2-3 SQL queries focused on joins and a basic discussion about Yardi’s products and tech stack. This round lasted for 30-45 minutes.

Round 5: HR Interview

The HR interview began with a basic introduction, followed by questions such as:
