Role:

- I applied for a software development internship. There were a total of 2 Rounds:
ROUND 1:
It was an online assessment comprising three sections.
Section1 -Problem Solving It contained 15 aptitude based MCQs(20 min) and
Section 2 -Technical It contained 32 technical MCQs. These were questions based on C++, Operating Systems, Networks, DBMS, and OOPS.
Section3-1.DP-based question (Medium), 2.Trees-based question(Easy).
As a result, 20 students were shortlisted for Interviews.
ROUND 2:
It was an online interview. There was only one interview round.
In the interview, I was first asked to give a brief introduction about myself. Following that, I discussed my projects in detail, with a focus on the technologies used. The interviewer delved into specifics, including a question about JWT (JSON Web Tokens). I was then presented with a data structures and algorithms question: implementing the power function pow(n, k) with a time complexity of O(logn), which I successfully coded. Additionally, I was asked to write a code for the "minimum jumps" problem.
*Ensure you have a thorough understanding of the projects you've mentioned.*
The interviewer revisited my projects, particularly as my project is based on the MERN stack. I was specifically asked to write a React code snippet for extracting three names from a set of names in an array and basic HTML codes.
Finally, I was given an opportunity to ask any questions I had.
The interview concluded, and I was informed that I had been selected along with three other students for the Software Development Intern position in the Computer Science department.
