Publicis Sapient visited our campus for hiring in February 2024. The selection process consists of 3 rounds. They were

  1. Coding Assessment

  3. Core Values Interview

Round 1: Coding Assessment

It was on 28th February after the pre-placement talk. Coding round hosted on the QuizME platform.

There were 2 questions. To be solved in 90 minutes. Both were of medium difficulty.

  1. It was identical to the question of finding k pairs with the smallest sums
  2. It was similar to Josephus's Problem

I successfully solved both problems and was selected for the next round. Additionally, even solving one problem fully and another partially was deemed acceptable for progression to the next stage.

18 students were selected for the domain interview.

Round 2: Domain Interview

It was on 8th March. All questions were asked from the resume and covered all the subjects from engineering OS, DBMS, Software engineering, DS, SQL, CN, Java. This round went for around 50 minutes.

  • Live Coding Problem. Print the next possible string. If the string ends with "abcd-aa-09", the next output should change the "aa" to "ab" and change the number "09" to "01". If the input string ends with any number between "01" and "08", the next output should be the input string with the number incremented by 1.

During the interview, I encountered some questions which I couldn't answer. However, at the end, I took the opportunity to ask for feedback. Fortunately, I was indeed selected to proceed further in the hiring process
