Overview of Interview Process:

1. Initial Screening (February 25, 2025)

  • Duration: No separate screening (Direct Online Assessment after resume shortlisting)
  • Method: Online Test
  • Focus: Technical aptitude, problem-solving skills
  • Key Questions:
    • Debugging Section: 7 questions (easy)
    • Aptitude Section: Logical reasoning, quantitative, verbal (hard)
    • Coding Section: 3 medium-to-hard level problems
  • Obstacles: Couldn’t complete all questions, but still cleared the round

2. Technical Round (First Interview - March 7)

  • Duration: ~ 1 hour
  • Method: Video
  • Focus: Core CS concepts and problem-solving
  • Key Questions:
    • DSA: Solve 2 coding problems live based on array and string
    • DBMS & SQL: Queries, ranking
    • Operating Systems: Process management, memory allocation
    • Computer Networks: DNS
    • OOPs basic concepts
  • Obstacles: Nervousness

3. Technical + HR Round (Second Interview - March 7 & March 10, 2025)

  • Duration: ~ 30 minutes
  • Method: Video Interview
  • Focus: Project discussion, teamwork, introduction
  • Key Questions:
    • Project Experience: Walkthrough of past projects, challenges faced, tech stack used
    • Teamwork & Collaboration: Situational questions on problem-solving
    • Detailed explanation of resume
  • Obstacles: Nervous during introduction, initially struggled but got comfortable as the interview progressed

Post-Interview Reflections

  • Company Culture Insights: The interviewers were friendly and helped ease the conversation. They focused not just on technical skills but also on problem-solving approach and learning ability.

  • Benefits Highlight: Internship program details weren’t extensively discussed, but the work culture and learning opportunities stood out.

  • Suggestions for Improvement: Instead of scripting HR answers, prepare key points and speak naturally. Always ask questions at the end, it helps in understanding the role and leaves a good impression.

  • This experience taught me that self-doubt is normal, but persistence matters more. There were times when I felt like I wasn’t good enough, especially when I saw others getting internships before me. But looking back, I realize, timing is everything, and the right opportunity will come when you're ready for it.
