Fidelity Investments Interview Experience for Apprenticeship

Last Updated : 26 Aug, 2024

Hi all,
I hope you are doing well!

First of all, I would like to wish "All the best" to those who are preparing for MNC company interviews. Today, I’m going to share my interview experience for the apprenticeship role at Fidelity Investments.

I first applied for the role through the Naukri portal, and about a week later, I received an exam invitation from the Fidelity admin team. I registered using the provided exam link and began the interview process.

Round 1: Online Assessment

The assessment covered English grammar, basic aptitude, and core computer science concepts such as OOP, data structures and algorithms, computer networks, and Python and C++ (MCQ questions). After completing this section, I moved on to the coding section, which included one coding problem. You are given sufficient time to solve the problem, with a focus primarily on array and string concepts. Following the coding section, there is a final section where you are asked to write an algorithm for a given question, mostly focusing on DSA-type algorithms. This section was the easiest; as long as you understand the concept, you can write the algorithm in your own words.

Round 2: Telephonic Interview

After completing the online assessment, I received a call from one of the team members at Fidelity a week later. They informed me that I had passed the assessment, collected my personal details, and explained the interview process. The team member mentioned that I would receive an email regarding the technical round in a couple of weeks.

Round 3: Technical Round

I received an email inviting me to a technical round, which was conducted via Zoom. The technical HR introduced himself, mentioned his role, and asked me to introduce myself. He inquired about my degree, final year projects, internships, and technical skills as listed on my resume. He went through my resume in detail, and I gave my best responses.

Round 4: HR Round

After the technical round, I received a call informing me that I had cleared it and that my HR round would be held on the same day. I was prepared and ready to attend. The HR round was also conducted via Zoom. The HR arrived on time, introduced himself, and discussed the company's activities, as well as the roles and responsibilities for the apprenticeship position. He then asked me to introduce myself and inquired about my projects, internships, and my school and college life. Afterward, he congratulated me, saying I was selected for the role and that I would receive further details via email. I thanked him for the opportunity.

Verdict: SELECTED
