Round 1 – Online Assessment
The online test was the first process which was divided into 7 different sections, each with timers.
- Quantitative Aptitude (10 Questions in 10 minutes): I got questions from time and work, profit and loss, Simple Interest, Speed and distance and Pipes and Cisterns. Most of them were intermediate level and mathematical formulas helped me a lot here.
- Logical Reasoning (10 Questions in 10 minutes): In this mathematical topics were Blood relations, Directions and Syllogisms. I found some questions time consuming.
- Verbal Ability (10 Questions in 10 minutes): This was of English Grammar-based questions such as (error detection, sentence correction, and basic tenses questions). This was easy section and most of them were correct.
- Technical MCQs (20 Questions in 20 minutes): This covered basic coding questions related to DBMS, OOPS, OS and Computer Networks.
- Writing Task (1 Topic 10 minutes): I was asked to write a short paragraph of 200 words.
- AI Communication (20 minutes): In this part, I had to record answers to a few situational and personality-based questions on camera asked by AI. The system checked my tone, confidence, and body language. It felt a bit nervous at first, but staying calm and answering naturally helped me to cleared it as well.
- Coding Round (1 Question 45 minutes): I got a medium level array question about finding Largest rectangle in histogram
Round 2 –Technical Round
After clearing first round i receive mail for my technical interview after 15 days. My interview lasted about 40-45 minutes over Microsoft Teams video call. Some of the important questions I was asked about are follows.
- Brief Introduction of Myself, including my certifications and technical skills ?
- Difference between SQL and NoSQL ?
- What are the Bean Life cycle phases in Java spring and what is dependency injection ?
- What are the steps to create a REST API using Spring Boot ?
- What is Smart Memory Management in C++ and explain polymorphism ?
- Asked to print Pascal's Triangle pattern ? and I first explained brute force and then optimized solution.
- I was also asked about my recent technical projects and asked me to explain any 2 of my major projects ?
After cleared technical interview, I receive HR round mail after 2 days.
Round 3 – HR Interview
The HR round was more about of my personality and fit for the company. The duration of HR round was 20 minutes. The Questions included as follows:
- Tell me something about yourself ?
- Why do you want to join LTI Mindtree and where do you see yourself in next 5 years ?
- What are your greatest strengths and weaknesses and how do you overcome them ?
- Are you open to relocation and flexible working hours ?
The interviewer was friendly and the discussion felt more like a conversation than a interview test.
Post-Interview Reflections:
- Culture of the Company: Everyone I interacted through the interview was polite and professional, which gave me a good impression of the company's culture.
- Work Environment: Since everything was online, I didn’t see the office, but the process was so smooth and well-managed.
- My Key Learnings: Time management was the key for the online assessment. For technical interviews, I realized that having clear fundamentals in Computer Science subjects and being confident about my projects mattered the most.
Additional Information:
- Having basics cleared will help the students to clear the interview easily and in some cases students might also face an additional Managerial AI round depending on their performance in the previous stages.
Closing Note:
- Overall the experience was very positive and gave me the full confidence. My suggestions for others is practice aptitude daily, revise the computer science basics thoroughly and be honest in the HR rounds.
