There are two interviews for this opportunity.
- The first is the technical round.
- Second, is the HR round.
Technical Round
A user can make a maximum of 5 API calls in a minute, and write a program to return true if the call is under 5 and false if exceeded. Once this was solved, the interviewer added more variations like adding validations premium users and so on. To crack this round one must have good practice and knowledge of DSA.
HR Round
Atlassian has 5 values that are very important to them. They ask you situation-based questions and they expect the answer to have the company's values. Here are some of the asked questions - explain the time you felt demotivated and how you motivated yourself, how you motivated your friend, how you got through a complex problem, how would you manage conflicts with a team member or manager etc. You need to prepare for this round thoroughly and make sure you know the company's values enough to include them in your answers.
