What is Flipkart Grid?
Flipkart Grid is an opportunity provided by Flipkart for college students for various job roles and internships. It offers pre-placement internship opportunities for first to third-year students and placement offers for final-year students. Flipkart conducts an online test that consists of multiple-choice questions on computer fundamentals. After qualifying this test, you have the opportunity to attend a direct interview with Flipkart for placements and internships.
Eligibility Criteria:
If you are currently a student at any engineering college in India, regardless of your branch or year, you are eligible for this test. However, graduates are not eligible. Flipkart provides different tracks, such as software development and IT security. You can enroll in any one of them, but you cannot enroll multiple times for the same track, as this may lead to the cancellation of your candidature.
Types of Questions Asked:
In the first round, there is a multiple-choice test consisting of 30 questions on computer fundamentals and Flipkart-related topics. After qualifying this round, successful teams will work on idea submission. The third and final round is the finals, where finalists from the previous rounds are invited to showcase their solutions to Flipkart experts.
Perks of Flipkart Grid:
- Certificates of merit are provided to the Level 1 qualifying teams.
- Winners receive EGVs worth ₹100,000.
- The first runner-up receives EGVs worth ₹75,000.
- Finalists get opportunities for direct interviews and to be part of the hiring process for internships and placements.
