Hello,
I am an undergraduate student of B.Tech of 2nd year. I sat on the MTS exam of 2023 for the first time now I am telling you about my experience of SSC MTS.

SSC MTS exam selection overview:-

The SSC MTS exam selection process includes three stages are

  1. Computer Based Test
  2. Physical Efficiency Test/Physical Standard Test
  3. Document verification

For the Havaldar exam selection process also three stages are followed those are-

  1. CBIC
  2. CBN
  3. Document verification

My experience with this exam:-

It was the first time when I sat in 2023 so I was very afraid and nervous about this exam now I am telling you about all the criteria and all the details for success. It is important to pass with 40% marks or higher marks than the cut-off for eligibility to jump to the next stage.

SSC MTS selection(stage-1):-

The SSC MTS paper- 1 comprises a total of 90 questions and the total questions carry 270 marks. The paper-1 exam pattern consists of MCQ questions in all the sections-

  1. Reasoning
  2. English language
  3. Numerical aptitude
  4. General Awareness

According to the sessionsnew pattern the MTS exam pattern of 2023 changed, the exam was conducted in two sessions, session-1 and session-2. It is mandatory to attempt both sessions without any fail to jump to next stage. I passed both session.

Below all the information mentioned about session-1 and session-2 of CBT:-

SSC MTS selection (Document verification):

After the successful completion of two stages(For MTS candidates- session-1 and session-2 of CBT and for Havaldar candidates- CBIC and CBN), the third stage is to verify all documents of candidates, they will be called for this round. Selected candidates must carry the following documents-

  • 10th or 12th certificate
  • Caste/category related certificate(if applicable)
  • Government-issued id card
  • Certificate of age relaxation (if applicable) etc.

That's all I have faced these all rounds of MTS but in final round I was rejected for missing documents otherwise my experience was very good.
