I started my graduation journey in the year 2022-23 at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) , Bhopal where I pursued a B.Tech in Electronic And Communication Engineering. So far, my college journey has been a rollercoaster ride, with its fair share of highs and lows at various points.
About the Campus:
The total area of the campus is 650 acres and is protected by a boundary wall and ring road. The entire campus consists of the administrative and academic building, a workshop, a Library and community center, Residential area accommodation for students and staff, and other general amenities such as a post office, a Shopping complex, a School for children, a dispensary, an auditorium with the capacity of 1000 persons and sports complex with vast expand of open area. There is also a Student Activity Centre (SAC) which I have not visited till now .
The institution boasts of being the most environmentally friendly campus in India.
First-Year Experience:
Since my college was started after the pandemic, so there are completely online classes and all. We have to reach the LRC building for admission, and after that look for hostels. Then as classes commenced, each day offered me the chance to deepen my understanding, focusing on topics closely tied to my curriculum. The main motive to attend the classes was to fulfill the 75% attendance criteria, otherwise you would be detained in the exams.
The whole first year was completed in just 8 months as due to the delayed start caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the shortened timeframe, we managed to cover the entire year's curriculum thoroughly.
Second-Year Experience:
The second year was truly a fantastic experience as we have got our respective branches And the first-year friends that we made are divided into respective departments. Then again new subjects, new teachers, and the new classes for the different departments. The teachers were like guiding lights, always ready to lend a helping hand and explain even the most complex subjects in a way that made us feel manageable. Our lab sessions were a highlight, providing hands-on experience that complemented our classroom learning. Additionally, the quizzes and doubt-clearing sessions were invaluable. They created a supportive environment where we felt comfortable asking questions and clarifying our understanding, ultimately enhancing our learning experience.
In the second year, the recruitment for various societies also starts, which keeps us engaged with our studies. There are multiple societies including VISION, ISTE, ROBOTICS, E-Cell, and many more. They all have their own recruitment criteria to become a member.
Finally, the second year has reached its conclusion, signifying another chapter completed in my college adventure.
Conclusion:
The third year has not started yet and it will be going to start after a couple of days. Overall, it's been the friendliest campus I've ever had the pleasure of visiting.
