Chaffee County, Colorado is a community of ~20,000 residents nestled in the high desert valley of the upper Arkansas River, where the magestic Sawatch mountain range towers over our municipalities of Buena Vista, Salida, and Poncha Springs. Comprised of ~83% public lands, Chaffee County's 1,015 square miles of land contains abundant outdoor recreation, cultural amenities, and genuine small town charm.
