    I love Nicholl's writing. This book is not his best by a long shot, but it's still worth reading. I found the esoteric interpretations of Jesus Christ's parables interesting and in places stretching it a bit.

    This book gave me many ‘aha’ moments on passages I struggled with in the Bible. Takes parables beyond the literal to a far greater depth. Yes, the writing is a little old fashioned, but the content more than makes up for it.

Connects Christ's life to the work of Gurdieff ans Ouspensky in an understandable, and convincing language anyone interested in these ideas will understand.
