    分厚いボリュームは中身を裏切らず、さりとて読みやすい（おまけに読み応えもある）という力作です。ありきたりな世界史の「学びなおし」や「入門書」では満足のいかない人に、ぜひ手に取ってほしいと思います。また、丁寧な脚注がいたるところに付けられて参考文献も示されており、世界史担当の授業者は授業づくりにうってつけです。
