    初めて読んだのは小学校時代、ジュニア向けの要約本だった。当時ＳＦらしからぬ印象を持って何度も図書館から借りたものだ。以後、忠実な大人向けの訳本を探し続けて古本屋で「ハヤカワ・SF・シリーズ」（いわゆる銀背）を求めた。読み返して「肉体と霊魂（精神）」の交換というテーマが科学小説らしからぬ、子供心に東洋的に感じたのだと改めて思った。といっても、子供が感じただけで西洋でも例えばミイラ等まさに同じ発想だし・・・。つまり哲学の領域をエンターテイメントで読ませる。そういうアイデアの面白さですな。

    そういう物語です。

    話自体は面白かった

    これだけでも、十部に読みたくなる作品。人類の永遠のテーマ、不老不死。まあ、これが実現すれば、病死もなくなる。ＳＦとしては、良いネタとおもう。まあ、じつげんは、むずかしいが、夢があって、ひじょうに面白い。
