Charles Alexandre de Calonne
Charles Alexandre de Calonne (IPA: [ʒak nɛkɛʁ]; 30 September 1732 – 9 April 1804) was a banker from Geneva who became a finance minister for Louis XVI. He tried to make France's tax system better.[1]
His dismissal on 1789 caused the Storming of the Bastille.
