T422931 implemented an initial version of the "Exit the editor" survey.
This task involves the work of readying the UI that is present within this initial version for translations so that we can proceed with starting a second round of the survey in T426132.
Process
- EdEng makes all user-facing strings translatable
- EdEng adds all user-facing strings to Column A within the text / string for translation tab of this spreadsheet
- EdEng assigns this task to @dchen
- @dchen initiates translation process
Requirements
Translation messages
- All user-facing strings that appear within the “Exit the editor” survey are translatable and entered into Column A within the text / string for translation tab of this spreadsheet
- E.g. survey prompt, answer options, instructional text, button labels, etc.
- All other aspects of the initial implementation ought remain unchanged
- E.g. survey activating conditions, survey answer order, etc.
- QQQ messages are defined so translators can ensure meaning/intent is aligned with what we intend
