徒然もの草　〜その38〜

一月ももう下旬を迎えて、私の方もやり残した事に追われる日が続いていますが、皆様はいかがお過ごしでしょうか。

我が家のねこ達は、そんな中で元気良く過ごしてくれると良いのですが、ハチワレねこのはなちゃんが最近体調を崩して、看病の日が続きました。
先生から処方されたお薬をいつものお薬と一緒に大好きなちゅーるに混ぜてあげているのですが、お薬の匂いが良くないのか、匂いを嗅いだ後にお母さんの私に塩対応。
せめてお薬を飲んでほしいとあの手この手を使っても上手くいかずに、結局、抱っこしてお口をアーンさせて直接ポイと放りこむ始末。これじゃ、ますますお薬嫌な子になってしまいますよね。

そのお薬が効いたのか、元気になってきたので、いつものお薬だけに戻すと、途端にちゅ〜るを食べてくれるようになりました。追加のお薬が嫌なだけだったのかしら？
キジトラねこのくるみちゃんは、元気いっぱいで、相変わらず
「No Food, No Life」の生活で、ことさら食に対して素直です。
病院の定期検診に行ったら、今回も体重が増えてしまい、5.9KG。
お母さんは、頭が痛いです。

一方、私の方はというと、ここ最近はパーキンソン病の状況もあまり芳しくなく、日中休んで過ごすことが多くなってきました。
一種の冬季鬱病の傾向もあるのではなかろうかとも思いますけれども、いかんせん起きていることが辛いのです。そのまま起き続けていると、手足の震えがきます。
困ったものです。ドクターと相談の上で、改善を図れたらなと思う次第です。

今はサッカーを応援しながら、休みつつ、photoの仕事と英語やイタリア語の勉強をしています。以前のように政治経済のニュースを読めずにいるので、話題に乏しいです。話題作りに政治経済のニュースでも読める時に読めたらなと思います。

明日から数日はサッカー中継はお休み。
朝の楽しみが少なくなってかなり残念です。
その代わり、You TubeをTVで見られるようにしたので、そちらで過去の映像など楽しんでいきたいです。

これは、名手ピルロ選手の相棒役として有名になった、ガットゥーゾ選手の特集です。
闘犬ガットゥーゾと言われ、泥臭いプレーで敵からボールを奪取していたそのタフネスが伝わると良いなと思います。

さーて、本日は夫が帰ったら久しぶりに一緒にTVでも見ましょうか。
いつもはあちらは別のTV番組を見るのに忙しくて機会がなかったのですが、
「TVでYou Tubeのサッカー見られるようにしたよ！」
とLINEを打つと、見る！と返事が。

よしよし、今年はW杯イヤーなのだから、その前にサッカー漬けにしよう。

＜ Writing Casually　~No.38~＞

We are already at the end of January, and I have been busy catching up on things I have left undone, but how are you all doing?

I hope our cats will be able to stay healthy despite all this, but our calico cat Hana has been feeling unwell recently and I've had to look after her for several days.
I've been mixing the medicine prescribed by the doctor with her favorite treats, along with her usual medication, but she doesn't like the smell of the medicine, as she gives me the cold shoulder after sniffing it.
I tried every trick in the book to get her to at least take her medicine, but it didn't work, so in the end I just picked her up, opened her mouth, and tossed it directly into her mouth. This is sure to make her dislike medicine even more.

Perhaps the medicine worked, as she began to feel better, so when we went back to just her usual medication, she immediately started eating the Chu-ru treats. Maybe she just didn't like the additional medication?
Kurumi, the tabby cat, is full of energy and, as always,
is living a "No Food, No Life" lifestyle, and is particularly strict about food.
When we took her to the vet for her regular checkup, we found out that she had gained weight again, now at 5.9kg.
Mom is having a headache.

Meanwhile, my Parkinson's disease hasn't been improving much lately, and I've been spending more time resting during the day.
I think I might be suffering from a form of winter depression, but it's just too hard for me to stay awake. If I stay awake for too long, my hands and feet start shaking.
It's a real problem. I'd like to talk to my doctor and see if I can find some way to improve the situation.

I'm currently supporting soccer, taking time off, working as a photographer, and studying English and Italian. I can't read political and economic news like I used to, so I'm running out of things to talk about. I wish I could read political and economic news when I can to create something to talk about.

Starting tomorrow and for the next few days, there will be no live soccer broadcasts.
I'm very sad that I will have less to look forward to in the mornings.
Instead, I've set up YouTube on the TV, so I'd like to enjoy watching past play.

This is a special feature on Gattuso, who became famous as the partner of the great player Pirlo.
I hope that the article conveys the toughness of Gattuso, who was known his nickname “fighting dog” and who would steal the ball from the opposition with his gritty plays.

Well, when my husband gets home today, let's watch TV together for the first time in a while.
He's usually busy watching other TV programs so we haven't had a chance, but
I sent him a LINE message saying, "I've set up YouTube soccer on TV!"
and he replied, "I'll watch it!"

Great, this year is the World Cup year, so let's immerse ourselves in soccer before then.

I think I'll stop writing here for now.
