How to Train Ti: Question, Discern, and Deduce
I've decided to create a series on how to train each function with nco.

So, I fed it into GPT and turned it into an article.
Ti (Introverted Thinking) is the "power to delve into principles and build logical paths." To train it, you need the habit of questioning assumptions, discerning principles, and verifying through deduction.
1. Question Assumptions
Example: A boss saying, "Remote work increases efficiency."
Identify the premises → "I can focus at home," "The work environment is set up," etc.
Consider counterexamples → "What about households with children?"
Question: How was it in my own experience?
2. Discern Principles
Observe phenomena → "Why does efficiency change?"
Reach the essence by repeating "Why?" five times
Example: The reduction of distractions is the essence of improved productivity
Question: In what situations have I been able to focus recently?
3. Verify through Deduction
Make predictions based on the extracted principles
Example: If the reduction of distractions is the essence of improved productivity, then reducing things that steal attention should speed up work progress
Verify with a small experiment → "Try working with notifications off today"
Question: Did the prediction match the experience?
Tips for building the habit
Spend 10-30 minutes every day questioning assumptions, organizing premises, and creating definitions
Repeat 'why' once a week to organize logic and causal relationships
Once a month, make predictions from principles and conduct experiments
💡 Key Point
👉 Ti is 'mental strength training.' Daily small deductions and verifications will make you feel your 'thinking power' growing.
