#28 What's the deal with hot water?

As you can see in the top image, I'm doing well.(Are you okay?)

No, look, life in Fukushima is surprisingly busy.
Searching for cheap bento boxes or finding bargain snacks. Following behind the lady who walks around sticking half-price stickers—the ones placed over the 30% off stickers—that start appearing at the nearest supermarket after 6:00 PM, panting like a hyena, it's surprisingly busy. (You're going to be hated!)Wait, I missed the closing tag.

Anyway, putting work aside, the real issue is how to get through three meals a day.
After all, the only cooking utensil I brought is one pot.
And, it was supposed to come with furniture and appliances, but there's no kettle or anything. So when I make cup ramen or whatever, I boil water in this pot and manage somehow.

It's a pain, right? But you know.
At one point, I realized something.

I see. Maybe the reason the plain water I boiled in the pot tasted so mellow and delicious was because I forgot I was boiling it and let it simmer for a long time. So I have to boil a lot of it, huh? Got it.

Man... that looks dirty. (Hey?!)
No, I just mean the photo doesn't really capture the simmering effect, so the water looks cloudy... Oh well.

Actually, I started boiling it with the lid off right around the time I started writing this blog post today. So I think it should be about ready now. I didn't use a timer, but it's probably been about 15 minutes. (Use one, will ya?)
