By the water, under the intense summer sun, a lapis lazuli shadow suddenly caught my eye. A butterfly dragonfly was dancing, its wings shimmering like stained glass.

This time, I have woven together a four-panel photo series capturing the brief moments from its graceful flight to its rest, and then its return to the sky.

It flies lightly, weaving through the water plants as if cutting through the summer air. Its mysterious wings, which appear black or blue depending on the angle of the light, flicker in and out of view through the viewfinder.

The moment it landed softly on a bud. Looking at it from the side, I am struck by the intricate structure of its wing veins. It is a sophisticated work of art created by nature.

This was the moment that captivated me the most. With the sun at its back, the structural color shifting from metallic blue to green reached its peak. It is an overwhelming beauty that AI could never create, born only from the atmosphere, the light, and the sculptural beauty of nature itself. Just imagining the process of carefully developing the photo by hand to express these hues makes my heart race.

After a short rest, it returns to the summer sky. The afterimage of its vibrant wings brought movement back to the quiet waterside.

It was an event that lasted only a few seconds, but by using a camera, I can see drama that the naked eye cannot fully follow. I want to continue carefully capturing the beautiful moments hidden in the nature around us, one by one.
