[Yokohama, Kanagawa-ku, Kanagawa Prefecture] Menba Hamatora
I had breakfast at "Menba Hamatora," located in the bar district after crossing Tsuruya Bridge from the Yokohama Station Kita West Exit.

I had a study session at a client's office in Yokohama starting at 10:00 AM that day. To avoid the crowded trains, I arrived at Yokohama Station around 7:30 AM and wandered around the city. I had initially thought about going to a standing soba noodle shop, but after checking the day before, I learned that this place opens at 8:00 AM, so I visited right after they opened.

I purchased my ticket at the ticket machine in front of the shop, which also supports cashless payments.

The morning ramen is served from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
The lineup includes hot ramen: Morning Soy Sauce Soba and Morning Salt Soba, and cold ramen: Cold Morning Soy Sauce Soba and Cold Morning Salt Soba. The price is a reasonable 600 yen for a single item. Adding a seasoned egg costs an extra 150 yen.

So, this time I ordered the "Morning Soy Sauce Soba (600 yen)" plus the "black bean natto (150 yen)" topping.
I was the first customer of the day.
The style is to hand your ticket to the staff and go pick up your order when it's ready.
I grabbed some jasmine tea from the front and slurped my noodles at a table.

A delicious soy sauce-based ramen. The noodles had a great texture as they went down. The finishing touch was the black natto, which added a nice thickness that matched the noodles and the dashi-rich soup perfectly, making it extremely delicious. The chicken chashu was also well-seasoned and tasty. It was a highly satisfying bowl with a high level of perfection.
