[Kobe Electric Railway] September 2022 Oike Station Inbound Station Building Construction: Circular Structure Emerges

Barrier-free construction at Kobe Electric Railway's Oike Station began in September 2020.

The new outbound station building opened for service on February 1, 2021, and
construction of the new inbound station building also began in April 2022.

I went to check on the progress of the new inbound station building construction on September 21, 2022.
On the left side of the photo is the new outbound station building, and on the right is the current inbound station building.

Looking at the site of the former station crossing where a temporary walkway has been installed.
Construction of the new inbound station building is progressing on the former site of the restroom that was located behind the station crossing.

Looking at the current inbound-only station building from the south side.

Construction of the new inbound-only station building is underway on the site that used to be the station walkway, station restroom, and station-front bicycle parking area.

Due to the construction, the temporary bicycle parking area has been relocated further along the Arima Kaido road.

The concrete structure has emerged.
It is quite tall compared to the current station building.

The new inbound-only station building features a unique circular shape.

This is what it looks like in the concept image, and I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out in reality.
