“Memorial Train Post-War Reconstruction Ver.”

The Kobe Electric Railway De 1150 series debuted in 1977 as a 3-door version of the De 1100 series.

It is a 3-car train consisting of De 1150-Sa 1250-De 1150, and
the 1151F, completed on November 2, 1977, was a non-air-conditioned train, while
the 1153F, completed on March 31, 1987, debuted as an air-conditioned train.

The 1151F has been operating as a “Memorial Train”
since May 20, 2018, to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the railway's opening.

It reproduces the “spring green and silver gray” livery
that was used on the Kuha 131 series and others from the post-war reconstruction period through the 1960s.

This is what the interior of car 1152 looks like.
There have been no particular changes even after becoming a “Memorial Train”.

The interior color of the 1151F is the same light blue as the De 1100 series.
On the other hand, the 1153F uses the same wood-grain style as the De 1350 series.

Originally, it had a wide gangway,
but it was converted to a narrow gangway and air-conditioned in 1990.

The intermediate car, Sa 1250 series car 1251.

A look at the interior.

While the gangway of the De 1150 series cars 1151 and 1152 was narrowed,
the gangway of the Sa 1250 series car 1251 remains wide.

Fall prevention hoods between the cars were installed around 2001.
