100 Days of Consecutive Posts Achieved!!!... But how long will I keep this up?

Good morning 🌞
I'm Satoyu, a working mom who shares what I want to convey in a down-to-earth way,
while mainly focusing on posts about home English learning.
I'm a working mom who shares what I want to convey in a down-to-earth way.

Before I knew it, with this post,
I have achieved 100 consecutive days of posting ヾ(*´∀`*)ノ!!

I pasted the above right after I posted. lol

However, as my acquaintances are quitting their daily posts one after another,
I'm feeling a bit lost about how to approach Note in the future.

This time, please let me write down
a little bit of those candid thoughts.

Why do I keep posting every day?

Originally, when I was stuck in a loop of overthinking,
I started my Note life thinking,
I want to find my own potential first.

I participated in the 30-day consecutive posting challenge by "Nihonjin Yametara Jiyuu ni Natta-san",
and the daily posting has continued in that flow.

Of course, as a working mom,
I don't have that much free time.

I use the time when my children are playing together,
or after 9 PM or early in the morning,
and when I was visiting my in-laws,
I even prepared 6 posts in one day.

Especially when reviewing something,
I don't want to spread incorrect information,
and I want to convey only what I am truly convinced of,
so as I dig deeper and struggle to find the right words,
the volume becomes larger than expected,
and as a result, it often takes time.

What is the reason for sticking to Note to that extent?
In the end, isn't it just self-satisfaction?
Aren't you just chasing numbers
because you're worried about the badges?

After 90 days, there is nothing until 365 days.

The benefits of continuing to post every day

① Turning it into journaling

Seriously, I can't keep a diary (sweat),
but continuing to post every day
has resulted in "public journaling."

Even if I can't summarize it perfectly,

"What is moving my heart right now?"
"Where are the parts that are bothering me?"
(Regarding home English learning)
"What kind of effect does that method have?"
"What do I want to try doing from now on?"

and visualize things like that.

Having a place to express my feelings has helped me
put a name to the vague anxieties I've been carrying,
and I feel like I'm less likely to let them drag me down.

The positive effects gained from that
are far more valuable than doing nothing at all.

2. A barometer for my own state of mind

My style is to just write down
whatever topic I'm passionate about right at that moment.
I only use AI
when I really can't get my thoughts into shape.

I can re-adjust my course while writing to see where I'm headed at that time,
and by looking back at my past articles,
I can easily trace
how my feelings have changed.

If I find myself thinking, 'I can't find the words right now,'
that is surely a sign to 'get some rest soon.'

Doing the same task every day
has come to serve as a way to check my own condition,
I've realized now that I've reached this point.

3. Interaction with other noters

Note is a social media platform where you can write long-form text.

As I continued,
・A 3-line diary to briefly convey interests?
・Worries about parenting
・Weekly reflections
・Past travelogues
・Interactions with my ASD family members

and other topics unrelated to English have increased.

However, the people who read each article change,
and I've been followed from unexpected places,
and by having people write
supportive or insightful comments,
I've gained many perspectives I couldn't have gotten on my own.

Also, through other noters,
they show me worlds I didn't know,
and my intellectual curiosity keeps growing and growing.

If I get too caught up in 'I'm curious about that too' or 'I want to write about this too,' it starts to interfere with my daily life, though😅

Connecting by writing,
and wanting to write again because of those connections.
That cycle
has become the driving force of my daily life.

4. After all, I want people to know that 'English is fun.'

English is fun (for the second time).

Seeing my children freely and
happily enjoying English content,
I am convinced of it all over again.

Even with lazy home-based English learning,
before I knew it, they were watching English videos,
playing pretend games,
and somehow becoming interested in the letters.

A mom who (used to?) have an English complex,
enjoying it all together.

Of course, home English learning
is never straightforward
because every child's personality and every family's stance are so different.

But by posting every day,
I can share the children's progress and how things actually work
in a real and candid way,

'Oh, you can do that too!'
'I guess I can manage with just this.'
'I think I'll skip copying this part. lol'

I like to think that maybe
people can relate to it more.

If there is anything you can take away from this,
it would make me incredibly happy as a writer.

Even though I have my anxieties and doubts...

・Is daily posting really what I want to do?
・Should I be more time-efficient and rely on AI?
・Should I think about a side hustle or going independent
and quickly find a path to monetization?

I can hear various voices inside my own head.

Maybe I am just like Hem,
never able to find my way out of the maze.

But this current way of engaging with Note
feels comfortable to me.

In my current daily life,
I organize my thoughts and gain new perspectives.
This format is a place where I can make that a habit.

That's fine, isn't it?

I'm gradually getting the hang of writing articles,
and compared to when I first started,
I've significantly reduced the time it takes
& I've improved the readability (I think).

Until the desire to do other things grows stronger,
I plan to keep pushing forward at this pace,
trying out various things through Note ^^

Wait? I planned for about 500 characters, but
it easily exceeded 2000 characters...

Well, since it's the 100-day anniversary, please go easy on me.

It felt easier once I stopped posting every day! But
if you have any regrets like "I wish I had worked harder back then..."
please feel free to let me know in the comments section below.
