The summer vacation for the Time family is almost over. The day before yesterday, when we went out shopping, my eldest son bought this.

Everything was peaceful up to this point, but the incident happened as soon as we got home 😳

Since it was past 7:00 PM when we got home, I, Time, started making dinner in a rush. The kids weren't helping and were each doing their own thing, but then

I had completely angered him. In short, he just couldn't apply the sticker well, but it wasn't messy enough to warrant that much anger. But he didn't seem convinced and said,

He ran out into the rain 😳 It's just a sticker, but then again, it's a sticker. Having a strong obsession is part of his personality, so I thought, well, that's fine. However, I hadn't realized it yet 😂

He spoke calmly about how it was a huge miracle that we happened to get two boxes at the first store, and how incredibly happy he was.

Oh, I'm sorry, my eldest son, I thought. I didn't know it was such a valuable item, so when I saw him snap because he had made a mistake, I wondered, why is he so irritated? I was also about to snap, thinking that a room with 80% humidity was no place to be building things in the first place.

Tomorrow, Mom is off, so let's look for places that might have it.

When I said that, he nodded weakly. And then, yesterday

Supermarkets, toy stores, department stores, electronics stores. We checked every place we could think of, but the Jyamato Form was nowhere to be found 😂

Honestly, I was exhausted too. We had been moving since morning, and before I knew it, it was night. Even though he made a mistake, he did have the finished product. I almost told him to just give up many times, but I held back. Then

I want you to go to this supermarket last. If it's not there, I'll try looking on Mercari again.

He pointed to a supermarket in the exact opposite direction from where we were. While I thought, "Are we still going?", I decided that since we'd come this far, I might as well go along with it until he was satisfied, so I drove the car.

In the end, it wasn't at the last store either, and he came back with his shoulders slumped, but his face was surprisingly bright.

Since we've done this much and it wasn't there, it's fine. Maybe I'll happen to find it somewhere by chance 😆

Seeing his expression finally settle, I was glad I didn't tell him to give up. He was able to accept it within himself and come to terms with it. Watching that, for some reason, I felt a sense of accomplishment too ✨

By the way, since we were moving as a family yesterday, my eldest daughter and second son were also dragged along endlessly. My children moved patiently without complaining. It cost gas and time, but we made another summer memory that was worth even more than that.
