Why I write on note | How I finally found a way to "gently organize" my life, even though I'm not good at cooking or exercise
This article contains promotions
──A story about how "effortless organizing" changed my relationship with my family.
■ I used to think organizing was something much more difficult
I'm not good at cooking, and I'm not the type who likes exercise.
In fact, I'm not that type at all.
If anything, I was the type who would think,
"I have to do it... but it's such a hassle..."
and end up putting things off.
Things I see on social media like:
・Morning routine x smoothie lifestyle
・Salad bowls with mixed grains
・30 minutes of stretching every day!
Honestly, I didn't feel like I could do those things, and
while I admired them a little, I thought, "That's impossible for me."
■ But I was able to organize my life, too. And in a very simple way.
What I started wasn't "doing" something,
"stopping the things that were putting a strain on my body".
Just by doing that, my mind and body
gradually started to feel more organized.
■ For example, things I stopped doing
・Drinking cold beverages first thing in the morning
・Looking at my smartphone right before bed
・Acting based on the thought "I have to do this"
Just that, nothing more.
I didn't change everything at once;
I stopped things "little by little, starting with what I could."
■ Because I saw results, I wanted to do it again
"This feels a bit easier, maybe"
"The morning sluggishness might be better"
Just by feeling that way,
I naturally started to think, "I want to do this again."
No one told me to do it.
It's not a quota.
But it's a feeling of"wanting to do it for myself."
This feeling, I think it was my first time experiencing it.
■ And so, I am building up my "effortless way of organizing"
Little by little, I stopped doing things,
Little by little, I felt more at ease,
Little by little, my smile returned.
・When my child calls out "Mommy, Mommy!"
I'm able to respond with a smile more than before.
・Conversations with my husband, which used to feel somewhat awkward,
have gradually become more relaxed.
It's not a dramatic change,
but I realized this might be what it means for "daily life to become gentler."
■ I'm sure I'm not the only one
・For the sake of the children
・For the sake of the family
・For the sake of work
Moms who find it natural to work hard for someone else,
I think there are quite a few of them.
People who are working so hard
that they don't even realize they are "working too hard."
I was like that, so I understand it well.
■ That's exactly why I want to tell moms like you
That organizing your life
can be gentler,
more casual,
and something that "becomes your ally."
It's okay if you're bad at cooking.
It's okay if you can't exercise.
Even if you don't have time, there are things you can do.
And that,
will actually have an effect.
■ That is why I want to continue sharing this
Because it's not difficult,
I was able to keep it up.
And I was able to feel the results.
I want to deliver this "effortless way of organizing"
to moms who are struggling in the same way,
in a way that is easy to understand, including the reasons why.
I hope that moms like me
can have more time to spend with a smile.
I will continue to gently share
this effortless way of organizing🕊
📘I have published a Kindle book.
For moms who are struggling in the same way,
I have compiled tips for organizing and "things I'm glad I stopped doing"
into one book.
