The story of how I analyzed my brain, which is called a genius at recovery, and found that my flaws were doing the best work

Hello, I'm Yukky, an explorer of inner honesty🪔

This time, I'm sharing an insight I gained after analyzing where the abilities I feel are "amazing" in myself actually come from😊

Why am I so good at course correction when I fail?🤔

People have always called me a "recovery genius" or someone who is "reliable in a pinch."

……Well, to be honest, I often think to myself, "My ability to course-correct and make things work in a pinch is pretty amazing" (lol)

I wondered again, "Why am I able to come up with such ultra-C solutions on the spot?"🤔 So, I objectively dissected my own brain. Then I found something interesting.

It turns out that what made me a "recovery genius" were the very elements I had previously thought of as my "flaws"😳💡

1. "Easily bored and always taking detours" = "An overwhelming database of experience"

I have endless curiosity, and whenever I get an idea, I think, "I just want to try it!" and dive into everything.

At first glance, this is a flaw that makes me look "fickle and restless," but thanks to this, my brain has a massive accumulation of "personal experiences from every field imaginableraw data from failing and correcting my course".

Because my life is full of detours, I have more of a "collection of failures" and "experiences of overcoming them" across multiple fields than anyone else.

2. "Prone to going off-track" = "The ability to instantly see through to the essence (commonalities)"

One more thing. My thinking has a habit of jumping sideways rather than digging deep vertically.
Like a game of word association (lol)

This can look like a flaw, as if I'm restless and can't stick to the same thing😂

But actually, this meant that I have an incredibly high ability to "see through to the commonalities (essence) between fields that seem completely unrelated at first glance"

Because I grasp the essence—thinking, "In short, isn't this the same structure?"—rather than just looking at superficial events, I can take a failure pattern from a completely different genre and think, "Oh, this has the same structure as that thing from back then! Maybe that method will work!🤔" I can connect deep points across different fields in one go, jumping over the boundaries of disciplines.

The secret to why people around me are surprised, asking, "How did you think of that!?" is thanks to this brain characteristic that allows me to play an association game that transcends boundaries.

I feel that it's thanks to these traits that a wealth of unconventional ideas keeps bubbling up.

3. "Impulsiveness without thinking ahead" = "The accelerator that breaks through anxiety"

So, what do you think happens when this "experience" and "ability to connect things" combine? 😉

When I fail 😱 or some problem occurs, a vision suddenly pops into my head.

Like, "Maybe I can correct the course if I do this!"
that is.

Normally, you'd get cold feet here, thinking, "Wait, but what if I fail again... what if it gets even worse... 😰💦" right?

But this is where my "habit of diving in without thinking ahead (impulsiveness)" does its best work (lol).

Of course, I also have that fear of "what if it gets worse... I'm scared 😱" 😂

But,
"I want to try it anyway! I won't know unless I try! I've already failed, so whatever happens, happens!"
That impulse wins, blasts through the anxiety, and I end up taking action. Or rather, my body just moves on its own 😅

Once I've started, I have no choice but to carry out the vision to the end, right? 😂

That results in creating a miracle where I think
"I somehow managed to pull it off 😳"
(lol).

And because I have so many experiences like that, the belief that "I'm strong in irregular situations" has become solid, and that has become my confidence.

So even when I actually fail, I don't panic and I'm able to manage somehow.

Conclusion: My flaws were the ultimate foreshadowing!

Sticking my nose into all sorts of different fields (Hyperactivity -> Amount of action = Experience points ↑↑)

Connecting unrelated things at their core (Getting sidetracked -> Connecting commonalities = Creativity ↑↑)

Trying things with a "Let's just do it!" attitude (Impulsiveness -> Breakthrough power ↑↑)

At first glance, I'm "someone who is restless and always getting sidetracked," but the moment these three combine, I transform into a "recovery genius" who can break through any trouble 😉

Behind the scenes of me laughing and saying, "I don't really know how, but I managed to make it work! 😁," this kind of brain mechanism was actually at work (lol).

Detours and digressions are all the "ultimate foreshadowing" that will help my future self.

Maybe I really am a genius after all 😉✨

At first glance, flaws might seem like knives that blame you for your own incompetence. But if you change your perspective, you can realize that they are already working as your strongest weapons. 😊

What are your flaws?
They might actually be incredible strengths, you know~ 😁
