Goals.
I felt like I wanted to set some goals. For now, since it looks like I'll need another surgery on my right knee next year, I'll do my best... and once things settle down, I'll aim for the next 2-3 years to get my health in order so I can skill up from a Type B support facility (working from home) to a Type A support facility (working from home)...
After all, I really want to work in medical welfare. Volunteering would be enough, though...
When I was a student (I think I wrote this before?), I worked part-time at an unlicensed workshop for people with disabilities in Nishinari, Osaka, and also worked as an outing helper (I skipped the helper classes for my part-time job, so I didn't have enough credits and ended up not getting my Level 2 helper certification, haha), but I've never done homeless support.
When I worked at an in-home care support center, I often visited houses filled with trash, though.
In the end, I worked the longest in child-related, mental health-related, and administrative roles... but my roots are where my memories are...
Of course, there are homeless people in my local area too, so I sometimes think that someday, within my own capabilities, I'd like to hand out water or bread, or just talk to them. Volunteering, of course.
Also, I'd like to use my own parenting experience and psychology qualifications to support single mothers and others... within the scope of volunteering... (the prefecture has a volunteer registration system!)
It's still very vague, and with my pain and health, I might not be able to do it, but I think I'd like to do something within the financial range I can afford as a volunteer (I'm not wealthy)...
Somehow, just thinking about this makes me feel like I'm becoming more positive, and since it's a goal, I think it's fine if I can't achieve it, as long as I can move toward it.
In life, goals don't necessarily have to be upward or forward; stagnation or even moving backward is fine too.
I just hope I can gain some kind of strength that I need for myself right now!!!
Good work today.
I hope everyone can rest well.
Eight, it arrived. Eight-san, looking forward to this year with you!!
