I created a Chrome extension that fixes the table of contents for note articles
This time, I created a Chrome extension (unofficial) that fixes the table of contents for note articles to the bottom right, allowing you to check headings and jump to them, so I'd like to introduce it.
Although there is a default table of contents feature, it is usually embedded at the beginning of the article, so you have to scroll back every time you want to check headings or jump to a section.
Therefore, by installing the Chrome extension I created, the table of contents is fixed to the bottom right of the screen, allowing you to check headings or jump to them at any time.
It's distributed for free, so please try it out if you're interested!

Free distribution and setup
Chrome Web Store
You can easily install it from the Chrome Web Store!
Download from GitHub

The source code for this Chrome extension is published on GitHub, and anyone can modify or add implementations to it.
git clone https://github.com/yuki-dev26/note-fixed-toc.git
In addition to cloning via Git, you can also download the .zip file directly from the link above.
As mentioned in the README, I will explain the steps to enable Developer Mode and activate this extension so you can use it. (If downloaded from GitHub)

1. Open the Chrome browser
2. Enter "chrome://extensions/" in the address bar to access it
3. Click the toggle switch for "Developer mode" in the top right of the screen to turn it ON

4. Click "Load unpacked" on the Chrome extensions page (chrome://extensions/)
5. Select the downloaded (or cloned) folder (note-fixed-toc)
6. The extension will be enabled

How to use and feature introduction
I will introduce what you can do with this Chrome extension.
Automatically generate a table of contents from headings

A table of contents is generated based on the headings of the note article. This is fixed to the bottom right and
can also be minimized.
*Note: Even for articles without a table of contents, one will be generated based on the headings, but please be aware that it will not be generated if no heading settings have been configured in the first place.
Jump to headings
With the table of contents fixed to the bottom right, clicking on a heading will scroll you to that section. (You can jump directly to the section you want to read.)
Also, the heading of the section you are currently viewing is highlighted so you can see where you are, allowing you to read while understanding the article's structure and reference status.
