AdSense rejection. But it wasn't Google's words that hurt the most
The screen said this:
"Policy violation found—low-value content"
That was the result of my Google AdSense review. Rejected. My blog was judged by Google as "not useful."
It's a blog with over 60 articles. It was the trace of my own efforts, built up steadily every day. And yet, it was "low value"...
The reason I couldn't make excuses
I was frustrated, but deep down, I also thought, "I knew it."
My blog uses AI to create articles. The ability to increase articles efficiently is the amazing thing about AI. However, when I re-read the articles from the period when I was obsessed with just increasing the count—honestly, it was content I'd read somewhere before.
There is no experience of mine. There are no numbers of mine. There are no failures of mine. It was just neatly summarized content that would be the same no matter who wrote it.
Google saw right through it. The "quantity" was my pride, but from the perspective of the reviewer, it was just noise.
I deleted 24 out of 60 articles
After being rejected, I graded every single article. The length of the text, whether there were real screenshots, whether it was in my own words.
As a result, I hid 24 articles from search. That's about one-third.
Honestly, I was scared to see the numbers drop. But I thought a "blog with only authentic articles" would be more honest to both readers and Google than a "blog with 60 thin articles."
I added photos of the actual management screen to the remaining articles. I changed difficult words into easy-to-understand ones. I also created an "Editorial Policy" page explaining how I use AI and published it all.
The biggest irony
Actually, my blog has an article titled "How to Pass the AdSense Review."
That blog failed. Go ahead and laugh.
I added a note saying "I failed" to that article. I thought that a record of a blog that talks about how to pass failing would be something people don't often get to read. The world is full of pretty success stories. But a record of a real failure can only be written by the person who failed.
From now on
You can reapply for AdSense as many times as you want. I have finished the improvements and am now waiting for the right time to re-apply.
Whether I pass or fail, I will write the results here again.
If you are creating a blog with AI and are about to undergo the review process, there is one thing I want to tell you. More important than the number of articles is yourown experience and honest words.
