Returning to the Sea of Elementary Particles: The Silence Found Beyond the Ego
This universe is a sea of elementary particles. We are
unique existences floating within that sea.
However, the ego divides that sea, assigns meaning and value to it, and further calls itself
the self, creating the illusion that it is something separated from the universe.
Differentiated meanings toss us about, we suffer under the weight of values, and at times, we become intoxicated by the shimmer called happiness. Perhaps that swaying is the
color of life
itself.
Yet, the death that eventually arrives gently dissipates that ego and releases the name
the self.
And we dissolve once more into the
sea of elementary particles, returning to become one with everything,
without any separation.
—What kind of truth do you find there?
I think of it this way. Death is not a fear, but an all-encompassing
return. The suffering and joy felt during life all spread out like
ripples in the sea
and eventually melt away quietly.
That is why this very moment we are living is already connected to
eternity.
When you know the warmth of death, you can realize that
life, too, is being warmly embraced.
