A day with nothing to do, a holiday for the two of us
I live with my son in a countryside apartment (on the 4th floor).
About a year ago, we started keeping two guinea pigs.
When you open the curtains in this house,
you can see mountains, forests, and a small stream.
It has been about three years since I divorced my ex-husband.
There were many hardships,
but now, I am living peaceful days like this with my son and the pets.
On this morning,
just like always, my son and the guinea pigs together
woke me up.

In the morning, we ate rice balls together
We tidied up the house that we neglected yesterday
My son's eyes were sparkling, so we went for a little walk.

There is a bench below our apartment building
I sat there
and watched my son riding his bike around.
Four laps, five laps around the house.
A four-year-old's stamina is truly amazing... haha
Lately, his interest in living creatures has been incredible
One moment he was riding his bike
and the next, before I knew it, he had started looking for bugs.

The first things we found today were a family of caterpillars and a single butterfly.
There were also honeybees, ants, and a spider.
We found many things, but in my son's world,
he might have been able to see even more creatures.

After that, the two of us spent a while
looking for four-leaf clovers.
We must have been absorbed in searching for at least 30 minutes.
But
our stomachs growling happened first.
Next time, after we have lunch,
let's try looking again.
