Redefining Health: Health as a Relationship and Adlerian Psychology
I am Yutaka Gokita, representative of Your Best Solution.
We are redefining health.
Generally, health tends to be perceived as a "state".
Whether there is pain or not.
Whether values are within the standard range or outside of it.
Whether there is discomfort or not.
Based on these,
we judge whether one is
healthy or unhealthy.
However,
can we really fully describe health
with just that?
No matter how problem-free your body is,
you feel unfulfilled somewhere.
You feel anxious somewhere.
You feel lonely somewhere.
If such a state exists,
can we really call it healthy?
We are redefining health.
Health is not a state, but a relationship.
Perceiving health as a "relationship"
Health is,
a state where the relationships between body, mind, thoughts, and society are in harmony.
The relationship referred to here
is not merely about relationships with other people.
