#Tried the Blunder Senryu Challenge.

I'll give this a try while waiting at the hospital today!

The project idea is really interesting!
And reading everyone else's senryu is fun too!

But I'm not good at senryu... I end up writing Dodoitsu while I'm thinking...
Senryu is... five-seven-five syllables, right?
I wonder if I can do it. lol

In the first place, don't I not really have that many blunders in my daily life?
While squirming like that, the wait is long, so I wrote some!

[Overslept in the morning, Mom didn't wake up, child is late]

The Wednesday after Labor Thanksgiving Day
I forgot that I had set my daily alarm to not go off only on Wednesdays, so I overslept~🤣
The whole family overslept!
A magnificent oversleep!
Good morning to us all together!
It was embarrassing to tell the school that Mom overslept...💦

[Umbrella, asking my dad who is bad at English]

"Do you know what 'umbrella' means?"
My eldest son, who is bad at English, uses a word he just learned to quiz his dad, who is even worse at English.
Dad is desperate, you know, he doesn't want to look stupid (lol)
"It's the name of the mark that's only on the goods of that brand called something-or-other, I know it" he says🤣
It wasn't even Arnold Palmer, and I was holding my stomach laughing at the time (rofl)
This one is Dad's blunder lol

[This cake, low sugar? Forgot to add it!]

When I baked a pound cake with blackened bananas and chocolate, I forgot to add the sugar...
The chocolate powder I sprinkled on top got crunchy and delicious, and since I mixed bananas into the pancake mix, there was sweetness, so I was able to fool the kids✨
But, you know, my husband would notice~🤣
I insisted that it was low sugar!🫶🏻

Well, I've made my fair share of blunders.
Well, it did take the form of a senryu, more or less.

It's not something I usually do, but
it was fun when I tried it♡
