[Small Announcement] I turned the illustrations I drew for my note thumbnails into an art book! 🤣🧡

Hello! I'm Nao Yoshino, also known as Yocchan.
I've just made a collection of my note thumbnail illustrations on a whim! Lol

This was my first time creating a manuscript from scratch and handling the publishing process myself, so there are plenty of clumsy parts, but I thought, 'I have to try it at least once!' and did my best within the scope of what I can do right now ^^

Like this, I've written down my thoughts and feelings from when I drew each illustration.

I originally thought about waiting until I could make the design and layout look cleaner, but I felt that if I did that, I'd never end up publishing it, so I thought,'Since it's my first publication, let's aim for completion rather than perfection!'and that's how I ended up publishing it at this level of completion 🤣

I also had various realizations, such as how some illustrations look different in color compared to when viewed on screen, so I'm glad I tried it.

And since I made and published it all by myself without anyone checking it, when I saw the printed booklet, I found many mistakes like typos and some fonts being different (lol).

Well, let's just leave it as is, considering it proof of my challenge (I can't admit that fixing it is too much of a hassle).

The reason I made this art book is that when I look at art books by manga artists and illustrators, I love reading the behind-the-scenes stories about what they were thinking when they drew the pictures and what kind of techniques they used, so I wanted to try doing that myself (lol).

This work is purely for my own satisfaction, and I don't really intend to sell it, so I haven't included any links. But still, the thrill of seeing my own illustrations in a booklet is something else!! I'm so happy!!!

Anyway, now that I've got a rough grasp of the Kindle publishing flow, I'm thinking of trying to publish an essay collection focused on text as an e-book next! Exciting!

So, that was my announcement that I made my first art book ever ^^
