ひまわりたちは静かにその一日を終えようとしている。
その光は、遠くへ旅立った母が、
今もなお、私たちに差し伸べてくれている
あたたかなぬくもりのように感じられる。
言葉はなくても、
光は確かに、心に届いてくる。
この絵は、母への想いをそのまま置いたものです。
うまく描こうとは思わず、
ただ感じた光を、そのまま残しました。
私にとって、絵とは記憶であり、
生きてきた時間そのものです。
In the gentle light of evening,
the sunflowers quietly come to the end of their day.
The light feels like the warmth of a mother
who has departed, yet continues
to reach out and embrace us.
Even without words,
the light surely touches the heart.
This painting holds my feelings for my mother.
I did not try to paint it well—
I simply placed the light as I felt it.
For me, painting is memory,
the very passage of life itself.
