Home Letter ─ Creating a place you can call home through words
Yaya's activities will soon reach their 2nd anniversary.Looking back at my first self-introductionnote, I realized that while I make a living by refining Letters and websites, I wanted to start a new endeavor.
Do you have a place you can call "home"?
A place where you feel safe returning to.
A place where you don't have to explain yourself or push yourself too hard.
A place where you feel it's okay to just be who you are right now.
Perhaps a website is, by nature, a place that should hold such a feeling.
However, in reality, they are often created simply because "it's necessary," without knowing what to do or how to do it.
Actually, I am still in the middle of searching for my own "home" as well. That is why Yaya does not have a grand website right now. I do not have a place where I can present a completed answer.
Even so, I want to work with others to create a place where we can pause, placing our words while we explore, leaving our thoughts as they are in the middle of the process.
Home Letter is not a consultation for those who have "already found it," but a time to explore together with those who are "still searching."
When I think about websites, my words stop
"I don't know what to write."
"I'm not even sure who I'm aiming this at."
"I feel like my current site is out of sync with my true feelings."
I feel that these voices are not signs of a lack of ability or preparation, but signs that your thoughts are still in progress.
Yaya does not know the correct form of a home.
However, I have received consultations about websites from people who said, "I want to start by organizing my words," and I have seen many times how their ideas took shape by putting their wavering thoughts into words just as they were.
