A reset. To enjoy writing again.

Hello everyone!

Thank you for always reading my articles.

Thanks to you, I have managed to post 170 articles every day.

The likes and comments from all of you have become my motivation for writing articles. I am truly grateful.

I had set a goal to keep going longer—to reach 200 days of daily posting, and even 365 days—but... it seems a bit impossible.

The reason is that I've been feeling stressed in my real life lately, and I felt my enthusiasm for note fading.

Yesterday in particular was not good at all, and my brain set off an alarm.

It told me, "Hey, take a break."

So, I have decided to stop posting every day for a while.

You might think, "Why not just stop on your own?" 😅

Well, since I declared that I would post every day, I am making this "declaration to stop" to clear my own mind.

If you have the time, please bear with me for a little longer.

Reasons for stopping

I'm not feeling it as often as I used to

As I wrote earlier, I've been losing some peace of mind in my real life, and I've increasingly felt that my heart isn't really in it when I write articles for note lately.

I could force myself to post an article by just "going for it," but I thought that would be disrespectful to all of you who read them.

Above all, I was afraid that if I started to feel that writing articles was painful, I might end up hating note, which I love so much.

Therefore, I will stop posting every day for a while and hope to write articles with a fresh mindset again.

I haven't been able to find time for reading

I love reading.

One of the reasons I started note was to output the knowledge I gained from reading and make it my own.

I feel that output is important for reading, and writing articles on note has been a great place for that output.

However, lately I've been so busy just trying to write articles that I feel I haven't been able to take in information as I'd like.

So, I will stop posting every day for a while, read books at a leisurely pace, and digest the knowledge I gain from reading within myself.

Then, I want to take my time and write it all down in articles.

In closing

Posting articles on note.

Having people react to those articles with likes and comments.

This happy feedback became the core of my daily life, and I spent every day happily.

I believe that the only reason I, who am lazy and easily bored, have been able to keep writing articles this far is because I had the goal of posting every day.

What did I gain from that "daily posting"?

If asked that, the first thing I would answer is my speed of verbalizing things has increased.

I feel that this was definitely a major achievement.

There is no meaning in posting every day, but there were results.

That is how I feel right now.

So, to reset my feelings for a while, I am stopping my daily posts.

My stance of supporting those who continue to post every day remains unchanged.

Also, I will continue to read the articles of those I follow, and I will continue to leave comments.

Although it will be irregular, I plan to continue writing articles centered on family and parenting, output from the Nikkei newspaper, and output from books, so I would be happy if you continue to read them.

See you again!
