What I value most in note consulting is not the 'answer' but the 'realization'

Thankfully, I have recently been receiving more inquiries asking,
“Could you provide consulting for me?”
regarding note operation.

Of course, if the opportunity arises,
I would be happy to take it on.

But in truth, I don't really start by saying,
“If you do this, you will grow.”

This is because I believe that in note,
there is no 'correct answer'.

The first thing I look at is not the articles, but the 'misalignment'.

When I receive a consultation request,
I first look at the entire account.

Rather than editing articles one by one, I look at:
✅ What kind of people are following?
✅ What kind of articles are being written?
✅ What do readers seem to expect?

I try to look at the relationship between these three things.

In fact, in note operation,
it is not uncommon for there to be a misalignment here.

For example, someone might be using their highly valuable expertise
to write helpful articles from the perspective of an expert.

However,
the readers who need that specialized content
have not yet gathered in sufficient numbers.

In other words, the intended reader base
and the actual reader base that has gathered
are not yet in sync.

Or conversely,
even though readers expect 'casual learning',
the articles have become as difficult as specialized books,
creating a mismatch with the readers' intentions.

It is not the quality of the articles themselves, but
the gap between the content of the articles and what the readers are looking for.

This is often the biggest challenge.

Seriousness is both a strength and a weakness

I have felt this with the accounts I have seen
since I started receiving consulting requests,

The more serious a person is, the more they think, 'I must convey this properly.'
'I must write without making mistakes.'
'I must write something useful.'

Because they think this way,
they sometimes put too much pressure on themselves, making their articles stiff,
the writing becomes rigid, and their valuable insights
become difficult to convey.

Of course, that is by no means a bad thing.

However, on note, there are many people who stop by with a lighthearted mindset, thinking,
“I hope I can read and learn something easily...”
“I hope there is something here that might serve as a hint...”

That is why, rather than an expert speaking,
it resonates more with readers when someone with experience shares their story,
and as a result, the sender's thoughts are conveyed more effectively.

I see such cases quite often
even in my own surroundings.

Dialogue is the most important part of consulting

I do not consider simply handing over know-how
to be the job of a consultant.

Of course, I do thoroughly convey note operation know-how and how-tos,
as well as points for improving operation accounts and posted articles.

But I believe what is truly important is that, through our interaction,
a realization is born, such as, “I see, there is that perspective and approach.”

People can only continue doing what they are convinced of themselves.

That is why, rather than forcing answers upon them,
I value cultivating 'realizations' together
and helping them internalize those insights.

In other words,fostering realization and achieving internal acceptance.

AI is also a great partner. But you are the protagonist

A question I am often asked during consulting is,
“Do you use AI?”

Of course, I use it almost every day.

Bouncing ideas off it.
Organizing thoughts.
Reviewing structures.

Now, the AI I have customized is
an indispensable partner for organizing my thoughts.

But I do not use it in a way where I let AI write an article
and then publish it as is.

I always confirm the generated text with my own eyes from beginning to end,
check the content from the perspective of a teacher grading a paper,
and revise it until it becomes my own words.

AI is convenient.
But it is not a partner to whom you should delegate the act of thinking.

That is precisely why I believe that the more you use AI,
the more important it becomes to have your own will and agency when engaging with it.

What I can talk about for free versus what I help with for a fee

Thankfully, I sometimes receive
consultations via comments and messages.

I answer as much as I can, and
with the desire to reach as many people as possible,
I have continued to write
know-how and how-to articles for free.

However, when it comes to actually analyzing an account,
organizing the direction, thinking of improvement plans,
and providing continuous support,

that goes beyond that point and into the realm of
the consulting I provide.

That includes the experience I have gained over more than 6 years
of growing two note accounts and
the trial and error I have gone through on note.

That is why, once I accept a request,
I want to face it with responsibility.

That is the feeling with which
I approach note consulting😊

Finally, I will talk about the consulting fees.

Consulting clients can, to some extent, shortcut
the hundreds of hours of trial and error I have
accumulated so far.

They can reduce detours, organize their direction,
and find an operation method that suits them quickly.

The consulting fee is not just for the knowledge,
but also a price to save time and effort.

They can utilize the knowledge I have accumulated
while verifying, considering, and failing.

Considering that value, it might actually be a bargain... you know🤣
