"MAJIN SHAKE" sold exclusively at the taproom.
The appearance is just pure cocoa.
It's super thick, with a density that will definitely leave some residue in the can.
The aroma is straight-up chocolate and cocoa.
As it's a double chocolate hard liquid dessert, it's more like a rich chocolate soft-serve than a beer.
Sweet and heavy, it really goes all out.
The taste is also pure chocolate and cocoa.
Even though it's 4% ABV, it has a solid alcoholic presence and a bit of a kick.
Since there are no hops, it's not really a beer; it's more of an edible dessert than a drink (well, it does say hard liquid dessert, after all).
I ended up eating the last bit with a spoon.
It's good.
