Y. MARKET BREWING's "Hysteric IPA"
[2026/4/30]
The appearance is a hazy orange.
It looks packed with hop character just from the appearance.
The aroma is impressively fruity with notes of orange and apricot.
There is also a bright fruitiness reminiscent of grapefruit and lychee, making it quite vibrant from the first sniff.
It's flashy, but well-composed.
The flavor layers citrus notes of grapefruit and orange with the fruitiness of lychee.
At the start, you don't really feel the 77 IBU bitterness, but as the liquid warms up, the bitterness stands out firmly, showing its full IPA character.
It's nice how the quality gradually improves.

Fruity aroma. Vivid bitterness. A standard Y. Market IPA that uses 5 types of hops luxuriously and focuses on the quality of bitterness!
It has a medium body and a slightly higher alcohol content.
Hop characters like passion fruit, citrus, grapefruit, lychee, and green apple intertwine complexly.

Story
Story
■ The inspiration for development
When we were founded in 2014, it was difficult to obtain hops in Japan, and the IPA style itself had not yet widely permeated the country. Even so, with a strong will that "we must make an IPA," we brewed it challengingly within a limited environment. A recipe that went beyond common sense was born, using an unusually large amount of hops for that time.
A standard IPA that has been supported by many fans since our founding.
■ Origin of the name
Named "Hysteric" due to its "insane design" with an amount of hops that could be called unconventional. It symbolizes our challenge during the dawn of the IPA era and Y. Market's pioneering spirit.
