Je te veux. @Itsuki Kuze
This is Itsuki Kuze from Geiso-mo Haori.
All performances have concluded safely. Thank you to everyone who came to see us, despite the cold weather. I am truly sorry for the change in opening time on the final day. Even so, it was a full house, and the fact that we even had to restrict entry was something I never expected; I was screaming backstage the whole time after the doors opened. Just kidding. Thank you so much.
As this was my first time acting and serving as assistant director, I found it difficult over and over again. I struggled a lot. I caused trouble for many people because of my own shortcomings. Even so, my peers laughed and forgave me, and at times firmly scolded me, saying, 'You don't need to feel guilty.' I was also encouraged many times by the kind seniors who would chat with me, spoil me, and help me with my work. Thank you so much to everyone involved in this production. I offer you my deepest gratitude.
Please listen, my peers are truly wonderful people, as I mentioned above. They are peers who are almost too good for me. I am so glad that we are all peers together. Being able to witness the growth and success of my peers from the closest vantage point makes me glad I was an assistant director. It was fun and joyful to be able to work hard and improve together, but at the same time, I felt frustrated by my own lack of ability to be of full help to everyone. Thank you so much for spoiling and supporting me so much. I will become stronger.
I am still chasing the back of that moving experience I had at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre three years ago. It is a back that was so far away that I couldn't even see it clearly through the haze during my high school theater days. I will likely keep chasing it as long as this four-year moratorium allows.
In the end, theater is fun, isn't it? I love it. I suppose it will be a one-sided love for the rest of my life, and I will never have my feelings returned.
But a one-sided love is the most painful and fun thing there is. Hilarious.
The Ginrei Festival performance is over, but I think we will be able to meet again soon. That is my great prophecy. I received a LINE message from my mother saying, 'Good job on the performance, can you rest for a while?' I don't know how to answer that.
to be continued...
Lastly, to the director:
Good work. Thank you for everything, always. I love you.
Get some good rest.
