Seibun Daimon

Nickname: Seven, Age: 18, Position: Long-term Program Deputy Representative
The protagonist of the main story. After causing an incident at age 13, he was encouraged by the guidance officer in charge at the time to "become a police officer," which led him to pursue that path.

He has a quick mind and his motto is to remain calm and composed. He has a high mental age and always carries an air of self-possession, which often draws resentment, especially from his elders.

He is the type to win with his head rather than physical strength, but that does not mean his physical abilities are low.

Hayato Ichijo

Nickname: Jo, Age: 18, Position: Long-term Program Group 2 Leader
A classmate of Daimon's from junior high school. They weren't particularly close and went to different high schools, but they reunited at the police recruitment exam, hit it off, and have since become what one could call best friends.

He possesses natural leadership skills and is good at organizing people. Perhaps because his father is also a police officer, he has a strong sense of justice, tends to be impulsive, and hates anything crooked.

He is one of the best in the prefecture at Kendo and even plays a role like an assistant instructor during Kendo classes.

Kazuomi Otomo

Nickname: Kazu, Age: 18
He has a laid-back personality and is prone to nervousness. He has talent for Judo, but the fact that he hasn't quite broken through is largely due to this personality.

His family runs an auto repair shop, so he is knowledgeable about machinery; he builds his own PCs and is tech-savvy with smartphones. He is good at games and boasts invincible strength, especially in FPS titles.

Ryuki Ishikawa

The only member of the Second Squad to become a police officer after having work experience. Their previous profession was a bank clerk, and their family home is a Jodo sect temple with a 400-year history.

They took the police recruitment exam right after graduating high school but failed; they passed on a second attempt after working as a bank clerk.

They are knowledgeable about finance and insurance, and sometimes weave Buddhist teachings into their conversations.

Kosuke Eto

Nickname: Sodai, Ko-chan, Age: 24, Position: Long-term Course Representative
A kind-hearted "adult" who always wears a smile.
They dislike conflict and would rather suffer a loss themselves than let things come to that.

People often take advantage of this temperament to push unreasonable demands onto them, and at such times, they come to the Second Squad to vent their frustrations.

Rather than leadership, they are the type who is good at bringing people together through their good nature, and they later developed a special skill of getting people to do what they want just by making a "troubled face."

Shunta Katono

Daichi Watanabe

A power-type guy who experienced student sumo in junior high and high school. They excel in judo by utilizing their physical strength, but they are bad at marathons. They have very narrow eyes and always look like they are smiling, but they sometimes take advantage of that to sleep during class.

Masato Sato

Nickname: Masa, Age: 20
Possesses a unique background of having studied aircraft (rotorcraft) maintenance at a vocational school for two years after graduating high school. It seems they originally wanted to become a Self-Defense Force officer, but they disliked having a shaved head and their girlfriend was also against it, so they ended up on the path to becoming a police officer. They are tall, standing at 180 cm.

Atsushi Hoshi

Nickname: Hoshi, Age: 19
Although he is a high school graduate, he turned 19 early because he was born in May. He loves the outdoors and, unusually for someone in the long-term course, he owns a car. His hobbies include fishing and cooking, and he is also incredibly knowledgeable about recreational activities.

Kotaro Shoji

Born in Hokkaido. It seems he was quite a well-known troublemaker in his hometown and couldn't find proper employment, so he was looking for a job in Miyagi, his grandmother's home region, when he passed the recruitment exam. He is a man of few words but is also very passionate.

He is quiet and has a low profile, but he is the most knowledgeable person in the short-term course.
He is particularly well-versed in trivia and is also tech-savvy.

He graduated from a university of education and holds a teaching license. It seems he originally wanted to be a teacher, but due to various circumstances, he ended up aiming to become a police officer.

The heroine of this story. There is still much about her that remains shrouded in mystery.
She is somewhat shy and often adopts a harsh attitude and tone toward people she is not used to (especially the opposite sex).

She is a balanced individual with both intelligence and physical strength at levels above the average. She appears to have a small and slender build, but according to Sebun, she is the "type who looks slimmer with clothes on."

Momoka Ujigawa

A natural character with a bright personality and a special talent for easily getting into people's good graces.

She is straightforward and the type who can get along with anyone immediately. She is extremely bad at sports and sometimes cannot even walk properly, but she later shows an incredible awakening that becomes the origin of her nickname.

Tomoko Yashima

Amane Miyazawa

She is in charge of the treasury for the female police officer course. She is level-headed and considers wasting money to be an enemy of humanity. Her hobby is saving small change. She owns a card case exclusively for membership cards. She is a modern kid who also loves point-earning activities.

Honoka Niiyama

Nickname: Nii. Age: 18.
A power fighter from Aomori Prefecture. Despite her slender, tall frame, the power hidden in her core is top-notch. A judoka whose specialty is a powerful seoi-nage (shoulder throw).

She is also a dan-holder in Shorinji Kempo and Aikido, but she is bad at marathons and has difficulty with endurance.

Sara Obatake

Nickname: Obatake, Princess. Age: 18.
Her grandmother is from Bangladesh, making her a quarter-Bangladeshi. She has dark skin and refined features, and while her athletic ability is high, her pride is even higher. She is also called "Princess," but there is irony behind it (though she herself takes it as a compliment).

Due to her lack of cooperativeness, she is isolated in the female police officer course.

Ikumi Ito

Eisei Fukuda

Toshiharu Daiguji

Noriaki Hino

He teaches Japanese and current affairs at the police academy. He is a former newspaper reporter and has a background as a press department captain.

Although elderly, his mind is as sharp as when he was active, and he is popular with all courses for his witty classes.

Miyako Ara

A guidance counselor in the Juvenile Division of the Sendai Central Police Station's Community Safety Section (at the time of her appearance), she gave Sebun the words that inspired him to pursue a career as a police officer.

Sena Daimon

Sebun's younger sister, three years his junior. Within the family, she is reserved and quiet, often seeming to hide in her brother's shadow, but she is actually a talented woman with a quicker wit than Sebun, and she worries about his well-being more than anyone else.
