With only one week left until the big day, we went in to drop off our brought-in items and have our sound-related meeting.

Dropping off brought-in items

Our brought-in items were mainly things to be used in the welcome space, and they filled about one large IKEA bag.

This bag is truly convenient when moving large amounts of luggage, and it has been useful in multiple situations since then, such as when moving house or during hospital stays for childbirth.

The contents included glass products, and since the size made it a bit difficult to carry on the train, we had my husband's friend drive us to Happo-en.

Come to think of it, I fondly remembered seeing people in the early meetings bringing in so much luggage that I thought, "
Are you moving house!?"

When dropping off the items, we went through them one by one with the planner to ensure there were no placement errors or missing items, and we left them after documenting everything in writing.

And upon checking again, we realized something was missing... so we ended up having to go back again on the evening before the wedding ceremony..

Sound meeting

Next was the meeting regarding sound (BGM).
The main purpose is to confirm that there are no mistakes in the songs we entered into the system in advance.

Points to check in particular

A common mistake when entering data into the system is selecting a different version of a song than the one you intended when multiple versions exist.

And so on. As expected of sound professionals, they didn't miss any suspicious points and checked everything thoroughly.

And if there were specific instructions for when to start playing a song (*), we actually played the song to confirm, saying things like, "
Ja-ja-ja♪, so we start from the '
ja' in 'ja-ja-ja♪', right?"

(*) For example, an order like "I want the chorus to play at the same time as the toast"
