ð7 Things I Did to Get Pregnant ~Part 1~
An unexpected pregnancy, followed by a miscarriage.
At 30 years old, I found myself studying
about my own body and pregnancy.
â»I would be happy if you could read this as a personal account of my struggle to conceive and give birth after two miscarriagesð
Pregnancy and childbirth, which had been an unknown world until then
Well, not unknown,
my sister and friends had given birth,.
I was ignorant
While saying "Congratulations!" or "How cute!"
I would listen to their stories about morning sickness and childbirth,
but ultimately,
I just nodded along as if it were someone else's business.
After experiencing two miscarriages myself,
I learned about various conditions related to pregnancy,
such as miscarriage, stillbirth, ectopic pregnancy, and infertility.
And that
childbirth and life
the fact that being alive
is precious in itself.
The first step of life, becoming pregnant, is a miracle.
7 things I worked on while believing in that miracle
âBody conditioning and observation for pregnancy
â Measuring basal body temperature
Checking if it is properly divided into low and high temperatures.
In other words, knowing whether or not ovulation is occurring.
Record in a basal body temperature notebook.
(I think there are convenient apps like Luna Luna now)
Know your ovulation day and menstrual cycle.
This is the basic.
â¡ Observing cervical mucus
Cervical mucus increases as the ovulation day approaches.
Check the color and stretchiness, and record it in detail.
In my case, the day I had a lot of watery, stretchy mucus was my ovulation day.
⢠Taking supplements with a relaxed mindset
Taking multivitamins, folic acid, isoflavones, etc.,
that are necessary and suitable for me
(not just for pregnancy, but for physical health)
⣠Warming the body (not letting it get cold)
Wearing a belly warmer and socks
Especially since I suffer from cold sensitivity, I was conscious
of not letting my lower body get cold
ðïžChoose materials that you feel comfortable in
â»I did not do moxibustion or acupuncture
†Walking
ã»I walked the distance of about 25 minutes from home to the subway station every day (50 minutes round trip)
ã»I walked briskly for 15 minutes from the subway to my workplace (30 minutes round trip)
It might be a coincidence, but 4 months after starting this lifestyle, I discovered I was pregnant

⥠Affirmations
By the way,my affirmation card is a vocabulary notebook
The content is
ãI am living a happy life as a family of four with a cute boy, a girl, and my husbandã
I wrote that, and on the back, I drew a picture of the four of us laughing.
Also,
ãThank you, Mom and Dad, for giving birth to meã
I wrote that, and on the back, I drew a picture of me and my parents laughing.

Why did I use a vocabulary book...?
Maybe I made it with a vocabulary book on my own
so that I, being lazy and impatient,
could quickly do it even on the subway...
Usually, affirmations are said to be done with notebooks
or cards like authentic tarot cards.
I don't have any records (or memories) from that time,
so I don't know why I chose a vocabulary book,
but when I followed a link posted on my own blog post
(which is now private) that served as a clue,
it displayed 'site not found'.
There must have been a site I was referring to at the time, but it's a shame I can't introduce it ð¢
Since I have no artistic talent,
my affirmation card illustrations
would be embarrassing if seen,
so I would flip through them quickly on the subway
and mutter to myself.
Just a middle-aged woman flipping through a vocabulary book and muttering.
âIs this lady going to take the TOEIC or something?â
Just think of me as a studious middle-aged woman~
It was far from an authentic affirmation,
a casual affirmationbut...
â€ïžâð¥ððThe important part of an affirmation
is to write it in the present tenseâ€ïž
ðïžFor example,
instead ofI want to become a mom who is OO
,
ðI have become a mom who is OO.
Instead ofI want to hold a cute baby
,
ðI am holding a cute baby, like that.
Looking at this every day and muttering it
was a happy daydreaming time
that blew away negative thoughts.
For someone like me who is half-skeptical
about things related to influencing the subconscious,
affirmations spoken out loud
seem to be more effective
than quietly meditating.
When I searched on note, I found someone
introducing light affirmations.
I felt a sense of kinship on my ownð
I will introduce them.
ðRegarding affirmations,please check this outtoo.
⊠Enjoying the present
This is truly difficult.
It was difficult
for me.
After two miscarriages, I wasn't getting pregnant easily,
and I was impatient.
I thought, let's try timing for a year,
and if that doesn't work, I'll think about it then.
Within a yearâyes, I poured all my energy into getting pregnant and
giving birth as soon as possible.
The goal was childbirth!
Everything else was just a bonus.
Back then, I was constantly searching online for
ãearly pregnancy symptomsããovulation dayããprobability of pregnancyã
and reading nothing but information about pregnancy.
ð Those of you currently trying to conceive probably know this.
(It's a fertility information site called Jineko.)
I'll post it at the end of the article.
My knowledge increased.
My head was packed with thoughts about pregnancy.
Suddenly...
I realized I wasn't able to spend my days in a relaxed way.
I'm not laughing enough,I thought.
I grew to hate those days and decided to spend my time on things other than pregnancy.
I decided to just enjoy the present..
What can I, a 30-year-old who isn't pregnant, do?
What do I want to do?
I thought about it seriously.
I gathered information on changing jobs to advance my career.
I also looked into information on new hobbies to try.
Speaking of hobbies, it's the violin!
The violin I used to play as a child.
I went to observe and try a lesson to see if I could learn it again,
and I stepped into the world of adult violin playing.
It doesn't have to be the violin at all..
Challenging yourself with something new,
feeling excited and thrilled.
It was actually fun..
I'm still bad at it, though...
ãTwinkle Twinkle Little Starã is about all I can play ( ÂŽâïœ)
I shouldn't just be someone who only gets pregnant, gives birth, and becomes a mom.
When I was playing the violin,
I felt like my horizons suddenly opened up.
And then,my third pregnancywas discovered.
Out of the 7 things,
what was the number one thing that helped me have a healthy pregnancy?
The rest will be tomorrow, the day after, or the day after that â圡
â» My favorite site from back then still exists!
Jinekois a consultation forum for women's worries.
I searched for it for the first time in about 25 years.
It has evolved wonderfully!
Now they have fertility information plus fertility goods for sale.
Even though I was moved that the site still exists,
I remembered my desperate self back then, and I felt a bit
sad.
I'm the one who posted it, so it's strange to say this, but...
Take it easy on the information gathering ð
Thank you for reading until the end (^o^)
