Before we get into the main topic, there are stages to X suspensions. What you lose depends on the stage.

Note: If you only save photo diaries or work photos on X, there is no way to access them while suspended. If the original images remain in your smartphone's camera roll, you might be saved, but if you took them directly within the app, there is a risk they will be lost completely.

Lists

Lists you created will be restored after reinstatement. However, if you were added to someone else's list, you will be removed during suspension and will not be automatically added back after reinstatement.

Is it true that "everything returns once reinstated"?
Looking at the list above, it seems like many things "return once reinstated."
But there is a pitfall here.
Pitfall 1: High probability of not being reinstated
The success rate of appeals is not public, but in cases of permanent suspension, it is more common for the account not to be reinstated. A user who has experienced six suspensions reports that "it has never been reinstated through an appeal."

Pitfall 2: You can't do anything while waiting for reinstatement
It takes 1–2 weeks to get a response to an appeal. During that time:
You cannot contact customers
You cannot announce work shifts
You cannot reply to DMs
Followers start thinking, "That person has disappeared"
While you wait, your connections quietly fade away.
Pitfall 3: Leaving an account suspended can lead to deletion
Under X's terms of service, if a suspended account is left inactive for a long period, it may eventually be deleted. Once deleted, all data is lost permanently.
Can the official X data download be used?
X has a "Download your data" feature. If you request it from the settings screen, you can obtain all your data as an archive.
However, there is a fatal limitation:

■ Download format → JSON format (difficult for the average person to read)

The biggest problem is that it cannot be used after you have been suspended.
Thinking "I'll get my data after I'm suspended" is too late. There is no other way besides preparing in advance.
Follow relationships cannot be newly saved once they become invisible.
