As a former craft beer shop staff member, a professional who introduces delicious beers to everyone via social media, and a craft beer geek myself, I drink many different types of beer every month.
Sometimes, I drink over 50 different kinds in a single month (lol).

01. Apocalypse Road Trip / El Segundo Brewing (USA)
“The answer to Hazy IPA is right here.”
Overwhelming freshness and an explosion of tropical aroma. It has no cloying sweetness and features crisp drinkability!! It is definitely top-class value for money in the 1,500 yen price range.
Style : Hazy IPA Abv : 7.0%

02. Daisy Ale / Hitachino Nest Beer (Ibaraki)
“It’s like drinking herbal tea.”
The sweet scent of chamomile and the complex flavor of the yeast. It has restrained bitterness and is surprisingly easy to drink. This is the pinnacle of daily ales that you can buy at supermarkets and Lawson. I want them to make it a staple (lol).

03. Helles / Augustiner (Germany)
“A ‘treasure’ you should drink even for 2,800 yen.”
Augustiner rarely makes it outside the country. An ultimate, clean lager experience. The crisp bitterness following the malt flavor makes this a historic bottle. Is it cheap if you think about the cost of going to Germany?

04. Palmarosa / Barbaric Works (Kanagawa)
“A dry shock delivered from Chigasaki.”
The citrus flavor is gorgeous, and I recommend it even to IPA lovers. It also has a spicy and complex taste, making for infinite pairing possibilities. Pairing it with tacos at Los Tacos Azules was the best.

05. Alt / Yokohama Beer (Kanagawa)
“The strength of a long-established brewery. Get intoxicated by the amber color.”
The sense of security you get from drinking an Alt after a flashy IPA. The fragrance of the malt and the bitterness of the hops. A flavor you never tire of. It has an exquisite balance of bitterness and sweetness. It was exceptionally delicious when I drank it from the tap at the main store!
