The Reason Why I, Who Changed My Life Through Body Makeover, Will Now Change Yours.

Body makeover doesn't just change your body. I truly believe it changes your life.

Hello.

I am Atsuya Otake, a body makeover coach.

Currently, I focus on 6-month online body makeover coaching, providing
diet guidance, training instruction, and Zoom support.

I also operate the personal gym GO FLEX in Kami-itabashi, Itabashi Ward, Tokyo, and as an influencer with a total of about 70,000 followers on social media, I share information on diet and body makeover.

What I am aiming for is not just to increase the number of people who want to lose weight or build muscle.

It is to increase the number of "cool people."

That is the reason why I continue this work.

In this article, I would like to write about the origin of why I have dedicated my life to body makeover to this extent.

If you are currently thinking,

"I want to change myself."
"I want to have more confidence."
"I want to live every day more happily."

If you feel that way, please give me a little of your time.

I am sure this text is for you.

Three things I want to convey

There are three things I want to convey through body makeover.

1. Body makeover has the power to change your life.

2. People can definitely change if they find the method that suits them.

3. Truly cool people are created through daily accumulation.

This is not just an ideal theory.

It is everything I have experienced myself.

I had absolutely no self-confidence.

Although I work in bodybuilding now, I was the complete opposite in the past.

Short stature.

Skinny.

That was always a complex of mine.

If only I were taller.

If only I were bigger.

I was always thinking about things like that.

I had no confidence and just drank alcohol, making weekend drinking parties my reason for living.

But when I was 20, the COVID-19 pandemic put an end to those parties, and I started strength training.

At first, I just thought, 'It would be nice if my body changed a little.'

It was just a casual feeling like that.

But before I knew it, I was hooked, became lean and muscular, wanted to enter bodybuilding competitions, and even experienced bulking up, gaining over 20kg.

When my appearance changed, my way of thinking changed in a mysterious way.

'It's impossible anyway.'

The version of me that used to think that,

'If I do it, I can change.'

I became able to think that way.

The hardest part was the weight loss.

I have been challenging myself in bodybuilding competitions for three years now.

I love the process of building a body, so I have rarely found strength training to be painful.

However, the weight loss phase before a competition was truly agonizing.

Denying myself the food I wanted to eat.

My physical strength and libido both dropped.

My mental clarity was also stripped away.

Yet, the experience of seeing it through to the end

led to the confidence that

people can become stronger than they imagine.

Furthermore, I was able to feel gratitude for being able to live through each day.

After that, I was able to win 3 times in multiple categories, including Open and Novice, at the FWJ Niigata Tournament.

But for me, what was more valuable than the competition results was,

the fact that I could prove to myself that "hard work never betrays you."

That was it.

The sense of discomfort I felt when I was a company employee

Before I started as a personal trainer, I worked in the manufacturing industry in my hometown of Niigata Prefecture.

It was a job making snacks for babies.

I certainly didn't hate it.

But there was a sense of discomfort I felt the whole time I worked there.

Seniority-based promotion.

No matter how hard I worked, it was an environment I couldn't change on my own.

A reality that cannot be changed by effort alone.

And above all,

I rarely had the opportunity to be told "thank you" directly by anyone.

Of course, it is a necessary job for society.

But I,

wanted to do work where someone's life changes,

"Thank you."

and I am told that directly.

That feeling was always somewhere in my heart.

The moment I learned about the job of a personal trainer while continuing to work out,

"This is it."

I thought.

Bodybuilding changed my life.

Since I started working out, my life has truly changed.

My income.

My friends.

How I spend my time.

How I work.

Where I live.

Everything.

I used to live my days according to someone else's decisions.

Now, I choose my own life.

Of course, there is nothing wrong with being a company employee.

But for me,

Being able to decide my own life for myself.

That state was truly happy.

And above all,

I learned the joy of being needed by others.

Seeing someone's life become more positive.

Being present at that moment is the happiest time in this job.

People cannot change just by being 'taught'.

When I first started as a personal trainer, honestly, it didn't go well.

Clients wouldn't gather.

Even though their bodies were changing, they didn't seem happy somewhere.

Feeling like they were being 'forced to do it'.

I sometimes felt that kind of atmosphere.

So, I learned coaching.

Instead of just imparting knowledge,

Drawing out their ideals.

Creating goals together.

Finding a way that you can enjoy and continue.

Since I started keeping that in mind, my clients' expressions and results have changed significantly.

That is why, now,

I do not force a single correct answer on anyone.

I work with you to find the method that suits you best.

Being able to continue while feeling excited.

Accumulating small successful experiences.

I value those things above all else.

What I consider a 'cool person'

I often say,

'I want to increase the number of cool people.'

I say that.

However, this is not just about appearance.

Appearance.

Work.

Income.

How you interact with others.

Sense of responsibility.

Humanity.

It is all of these.

My criteria for judgment are simple.

Is my current choice cool?

When I am lost, I always ask myself this.

I believe that the accumulation of these choices is what makes a person.

People I want to help

The people I want to support are

not just those who want to lose weight.

  • People who want to have confidence in themselves

  • People who want to enjoy their daily lives more

  • People who want to change their tendency to give up

  • People who want to make their lives better

These are the people I want to help.

I have actually supported over 100 people.

Among them, there is a phrase I have been told many times.

I didn't know I could lose weight while eating this much.

I wish I had known about this sooner.

There are so many people in the world taking the long way around due to incorrect information.

That is exactly why I want to be a source of correct knowledge and support for those who cannot continue on their own.

Current activities

Currently, I am

  • Approximately 6 months of online body makeup coaching

  • Dietary guidance and review

  • Training guidance

  • Zoom support

  • Personal gym 'GO FLEX' (Itabashi Ward, Tokyo - Kami-itabashi)

I am mainly active in these areas.

My qualifications include NSCA-CPT.

In competitions, I have won three times at the FWJ Niigata tournament.

However, the achievement I value most is,

seeing my clients change their lives in a positive way.

That is everything.

Finally,

If you are currently thinking,

'I want to change.'

If you feel that way, there is something I want to tell you.

You are the youngest you will ever be right now.

Age does not matter in body makeup.

What is important is,

to start.

And,

Making your choice the right one after you have started.

I myself truly changed my life after starting body make.

Even if I were reborn, I would surely start strength training all over again.

That is how valuable this experience is.

That is why I want to deliver that value to you this time.

That is my job.

To you who thought, "I'd like to hear a little more about this."

Thank you so much for reading this far.

If,

"Maybe I can change too."

If you felt that even a little bit, please feel free to consult with me.

I will never pressure you into signing up.

First, let me hear about your worries and ideals in a 30-minute consultation.

It is a time for us to think together about whether you truly need support or if you can move forward on your own.

Based on that, I only offer coaching if we both feel that "having more support will help you get closer to your ideal."

If you send "Consultation" via Instagram DM,

  • advice tailored to your current situation

  • details of the support

  • whether coaching is a good fit for you

will be explained to you carefully.

Body makeup does more than just change your body.

It builds confidence, changes your actions, and serves as a catalyst for changing your life.

You might be the next one to change.

I will fully support you in taking that first step.
