#100 I want to be someone connected by trust rather than credit
Credit and trust seem similar but are different
Although "credit" and "trust" are similar words,
I perceive them as slightly different things within myself.
Credit is something that is born after accumulating things like
having a track record
producing results
keeping promises
that kind of accumulation.
On the other hand, I feel that trust
is not something born because there are results.
Trust is born from one's "way of being"
Trust is
this person will be fine
we can work together
I want to entrust them with something
it is closer to a feeling that you can think that way.
It is not just about track record,
but something that is naturally born from one's usual way of beingI think.
Are you facing things sincerely?
Do your words and actions match?
Do you value people?
The accumulation of these daily actions
builds trust in ways separate from results.
Trust is not a 'promise of success'
There is one more thing I think is important.
That is,
Trust does not guarantee that things will go well
that.
Just because you trust someone,
it does not mean you will always succeed.
Rather,
they might fail
things might not go well
it means entrusting them even with that possibility.
Trust is the 'resolve to entrust'
To trust someone means,
not to have them ensure success for you,
but to believe that they will see it through to the end.
And,
even if things do not go well,
Looking back together
Thinking together
Supporting you so you can try again
I believe that is the way to engage with others.
I want to be a person who can be trusted
That is precisely why,
I
not only want to be someone who is credited,
but also
someone who can be trusted
is what I think.
Achieving results is important, too.
But even more than that,
what kind of attitude I bring to the table
how I interact with people
in those areas,
I want people to think, 'I want to work with this person.'
And even more than that, I want to
sincerely trust the people around me, regardless of the results.
Trust can be created by oneself.
If I can trust people unconditionally,
that feeling will be conveyed to the other person,
and as a result, I believe they will come to trust me.
Finally
And one more thing.
If you want to be trusted yourself,
First of all,
being a trustworthy person yourself
is what I believe is important.
Not whether things will go well or not,
but believing in that person's potential
that accumulation
builds relationships.
Credit is something that comes after the results. Trust is something that grows within one's way of being.
Both are important, but
from now on, too,
I want to cherish relationships connected by trust.
