Everyone Loves Gummies After All
The other day, a secret meeting was held at a certain location in Tokyo.
The first to appear at the meeting place was Maiton, of the Kanro Pure Gummy family, popular for its sour granules.
The excitement of arriving 15 minutes before the meeting time was clear. It was easy to see how much they were looking forward to it.
Next to appear was Shiimo Takatsuka, of the Kabaya TOUGH Gummy family, whose elasticity is addictive.
Even though they had messaged, 'I arrived early so I'll wait in front of the shop,' before I knew it, they had sent a message saying, 'I went in already☆'.
As I hurried into the shop, a woman with a straight back, dressed in a blue patterned shirt, was sitting there. Looking at her hands, although she wasn't holding a liquor bottle, her nails had a familiar vibe. There was no mistake.
オススメのジンです。

Just as I imagined, she was a cool and beautiful older sister type (though younger than me) who had a core but also possessed kindness.
We started talking without even properly saying 'nice to meet you'.
Rather than talking about note, we hit it off talking about each other's families. Although there was a bit of tension, it was very easy to talk since we are already close in our daily lives.
Saying, 'It's about time,' I checked my smartphone and saw a notification.
The third person was mika🌼 from the colorful and pop Meiji Poifull family.
She should have arrived at the station at about the same time as me and Shiimo-chan, but she hadn't appeared at the shop at all.
Anyway, the LINE notifications were too funny lol
Declaration of severe sense of direction

Crap, I came to a completely different place

Anyway, where am I
'Why are you getting lost at a shop that's 2 minutes from the station?' Shiimo-chan and I laughed in unison.
The one who went to help that lost, severely directionally challenged mika🌼-chan, saying, 'I'm coming now (I'm also extremely directionally challenged),' was today's main guest. (Apparently, the train was delayed due to responding to a sick passenger. The main guest is always late.)
Gumi Otsuka, of the 100% xylitol, tooth-friendly CHILEES Hug Gummy family.
Apparently, she got a stye from extreme nervousness.
It's a little funny, but too pitiful.
Two more beautiful women appeared, and finally all four were together!
Yes, let me introduce them again.
This time, I participated in a dinner party with three women who are very active in the note world: Shiimo Takatsuka, mika🌼, and Gumi Otsuka!
I can hear Genchon's voice.
'Brother, you think note is a dating app, don't you?' No, that's... not it.
It all started with a post by Gumi-san at the end of last year.
"I want to host a meetup in 2025 too!"
Knowing how shy she was from her usual articles, I couldn't help but chime in and say, "Let's do a meetup."
The ones who agreed and raised their hands were Shiimo-chan, mika🌼-san, and then Honda Sunou-san and Mikamayutan-san.
I was terrified that I had suddenly become the only man in a group of women, but I tried to act cool.
In the end, unfortunately, Sunou-san and Mikamayutan-san couldn't make it, so the event was held with the four of us.
Let me start with the conclusion!
It was so much fun and the most healing time ever.
Even though it was the first time the four of us had met, the balance was perfect.
Shiimo-chan, who led the conversation but was also very considerate of everyone.
mika🌼-san, who has her own strong sense of self and joins the conversation at just the right moments.
Gumi-san, who is just so cute, whether she's struggling to decide on a menu or cutting her pizza into tiny pieces because she's wearing braces.
The topics were peaceful, ranging from note and creative work to stories about our respective children.
I wonder what it was. It might have been a long time since I had such a calm lunch.

We had so much fun at the first place that we were kicked out by the staff, and that was that.
I'm sure we all thought it would be a waste to call it a day right there.
We said we'd just go for tea somewhere else, but two of us (who could it be?) insisted on drinking more, so we ended up moving to a stylish bistro izakaya.

We drank and talked for nearly two more hours there before parting ways, feeling completely satisfied.
One thing I realized is that writing really does reflect a person's character.
Just as I had imagined from the start, everyone was truly wonderful.
I'd like to share a little bit of the memorable conversations from the end.
Shiimo-chanWhen I come home stressed from work, my husband brings out drinks to comfort me.
(It was very clear that they have a wonderful relationship as a couple)
mika🌼-sanMy husband doesn't draw as a hobby; he draws because people ask him to.
(He's so good at it, so what does it mean that it's not even a hobby, let alone a profession?)
Gumi-sanI was scared at first when Maiton-san sent me a tip in our first comment exchange.
(I bet you were 😂 It's scary to suddenly get a tip from a stranger, right? 😂)
Thank you all so much!! Let's meet again.
😆
By the way, here are the wonderful articles by everyone I met this time 😆
